Race regulations: IFSS Race Rules (www.sleddogsport.net)

Dog Identification: Microchips. All dogs should be micro chipped for Anti doping identification purposes.

Dog vaccination: All dogs must be vaccinated according to German laws.

Dog age: The dogs entering the race must be at least 18 months old in the unlimited class, in the ski-dogs classes and in the distance classes. They shall be at least 12 months old in all other classes (Race Rule 3.5) Entry fees:

If we have at least 5 competitors with Nordic Breed teams starting in the first heat of a class we will have a separated award, granted by the RGO. NB teams pay the same entry fees as listed above. The musherdinner (21.02.2015 in Bernau) and 28.02.2015 in Todtmoos is included in the starting fee!

Nominations:

The IFSS invites gold medal winners at the 2013 IFSS Snow World Championship and the top three medalists of the 2013/2014 World Cup to participate in the 2015 Snow World Championship as pre-selected participants.

Each national member federation in good standing with IFSS (all dues paid) is entitled to nominate teams in each class in addition to its pre-selected participants.

No individual entries will be accepted from drivers of IFSS member countries.

The IFSS Council may, under certain circumstances, grant permission for entry (wild card) to a qualified driver who is not holding a passport from one of the IFSS member country.

Entries:

Each national federation is free to decide on its selection criteria and its individual entry procedure. Individual entries must be reassembled and submitted in writing by the national member federation on the official entry form.

The signed entry form and the entry fee for every named participant, including those who were pre-selected by IFSS, from a country, must be sent by the national member federation on or before February 1st 2015.

Payment of Entry fees shall be made to the IFSS account.

All entry forms shall be sent by the National Federations to: Christian Haeberli  email: vp.economy@sleddogsport.net No individual entry will be accepted.

Competitor Waiver forms and Competitor Information sheets can be handed at the first team leaders meeting, at the latest.

If a member federation does not know the names of all participants by this deadline, the federation may advise the registrar in writing of each entry place it wishes to reserve in addition to the named participants submitted as per the instructions above. The federation must submit the proper entry fees to the registrar for each place to be reserved on or before February 1st, 2015, even if the name is not announced.

Entry forms and entry fees received after February 1st, 2015 will be considered late entries. All late entries must pay double entry fee and are subject to the approval of the IFSS. Late entrants may start last on the first day of the race in the order of receipt of the late entries.

IFSS reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding late entries and payment of fees.

No late entries shall be accepted after February 8th, 2015. All participants‘ names shall be submitted on or before February 8th, 2015.

Entry fees are not refundable except in case of cancellation of the race.

Notification:

Immediately after February 8th the registrar will add up the total number of accepted participants in each class. The IFSS will notify immediately the concerned federations if a class is cancelled due to lack of participation (less than 5 entries in the concerned class) or if a class cannot be awarded World Championships titles (less than 2 different countries represented in the concerned class.

A class will be rated only if there are at least five (5) competitors starting in the first heat of that class.

Titles of World Champion and Vice Champion will be awarded in all rated classes satisfying the criteria set above.

Doping control:

Doping control may be performed on dogs and human athletes during the event in accordance with the WADA and IFSS doping control regulations.
